CrossFit DOA's Coaches are all local Wellington and Palm Beach County Florida residents certified in CrossFit training.  We also have Olympic Lifting certifications and many years of experience working with people of all ages.  We also offer private personal training in a private facility separated from our CrossFit area. There is no judgment here, only support and encouragement.  We will work to bring the best out of you!

Jeff Dempsey - 50 year-old Bearded Dragon
Owner, Head Coach, Programmer,
Certified CrossFit/Olympic Trainer, CrossFit Games Athlete, Pan American World Record Holder

Jeff Dempsey - Owner, Coach, Games Athlete

With really no athletic background, Jeff started CrossFit in 2012. Jeff had been an avid runner for about a year when a friend suggested he try CrossFit. Jeff was hooked after his first class! Within a month of starting CrossFit he entered his first competition, he placed 10th, not bad for a first timer! There was no going back, he was RX'ing every WOD and very eager to learn everything and anything about CrossFit.

Jeff got his Level 1 certification within a year of starting CrossFit. Jeff's strength, endurance, crazy cardio ability and just pure passion for the sport made him a standout in the CrossFit community. In 2013 Jeff finished 53rd in the CrossFit Open, in 2014 he finished 11th in the entire world. In 2015 and 2017 he qualified and competed in the Reebok CrossFit Games.  He is also a 2016 National Olympic Lifting Champion, Pan American Olympic Champion, and Pan American world record holder. Even at 50 years old Jeff sets goals for himself and anyone that trains at his box, CrossFit DOA, which he opened in January 2014. Jeff will make you your best and you will fall in love with CrossFit just like he did!

Sam Infantino
CrossFit L-1 Trainer, Olympic Lifting Certified

CrossFit DOA

Sam has been an athlete her whole life, starting with basketball. Throughout her high school years, she bowled (yes, this is a sport!), played basketball and volleyball. Basketball quickly became her sport of choice and she earned a full athletic collegiate scholarship to Eckerd College. There, she earned MVP and Conference player awards each year she played.

After college, Sam moved back home to Wellington, FL and needed to fill the competitive void in her life. The globo gym left her bored and needing more. When introduced to CrossFit in March of 2012, she quickly found out that CrossFit was her new addiction and that she had alot of room for improvement! She couldn’t even do a pushup without scaling it! Sam quickly became hooked on CrossFit and is always looking to improve herself and the other athletes at CrossFit DOA.

Sam hopes to podium at local competitions, be a regional competitor and snatch 160!
